IMMEDIATE EXTRACTION AND IMPLANTS

Compartir

This patient came to me urgently because she had recurrent infections in a bridge that had been placed less than two years ago in the lower anterior sector, from canine to canine.
To my surprise, when I saw the panoramic X-ray, she had chronic infections due to poor sealing in the root canals of all the teeth, in all the pillars of the bridge.

My treatment plan in this case would be none other than extraction of the teeth, basal implants at the moment, which, being smooth and machined, anchored into bone that is never lost and is always healthy, which is basal bone and/or deep medullary bone. In this case, we were able to re/use the same metal-ceramic bridge she was wearing to adjust it, adapt it, and place it as a provisional solution.

In a few months, when she returns to visit her family, who are here, the definitive prosthesis will be made, and I sincerely hope she stops suffering.
