The fear of “I don’t have enough bone”.

Receiving the news that you are missing a tooth is difficult, but hearing that “you are not a candidate for implants because you don’t have enough bone” can be frustrating. For years, conventional dentistry has forced these patients to undergo long bone grafting procedures, multiple surgeries, and months of waiting before seeing a tooth in their mouth.

At Clínica Dental Dr. Darío Castro – Dental Office, under the direction of Dr Dario Castro, our philosophy is different. We believe that technology should adapt to the patient, not the other way around. Today we would like to tell you how we resolve cases of limited space and reduced bone in a simple, fast and predictable way.

The challenge of agenesis and lack of space.

Many of our patients suffer from agenesis, a condition in which the permanent teeth (commonly the lateral incisors) never erupt. This often leaves a narrow space and a bone that, as it has never had a tooth root, is very thin.

Initial situation of lateral agenesis. The absence of teeth and the narrowness of the available space are observed

Why choose Monobloc Implantology?.

Instead of creating large surgical sites to place artificial bone, we use state-of-the-art implants known as monobloc implants. These implants are specifically designed to be placed in very narrow spaces, making use of every last millimetre of your natural bone.

Placement of Microdent monobloc implants. Their design allows for firm fixation even in narrow anatomies, avoiding major surgery

The science behind the smile.

For us, precision is non-negotiable. Before we begin, we analyse your bone structure using advanced imaging technology. This allows us to see what others cannot see and to plan a surgery that leaves barely any trace on your body.

Radiographic study of the case. The image shows how the implant integrates perfectly into the reduced bone, ensuring stability without the need for prior grafts

The myth of pain and swelling.

One of our patients’ biggest concerns at Dental Office is the post-operative period. Thanks to the minimally invasive nature of the monobloc technique, we can proudly say that our patients experience:

Zero inflammation: As the tissue is not massively disrupted.

Minimal discomfort: Most of our patients return to normal life the following day.

Speed: We reduce treatment times to weeks, rather than months.

A clean and precise process that lays the foundations for the patient’s new dental aesthetics

Immediate results and natural aesthetics.

What truly sets us apart is immediate loading. We do not want you to leave our clinic with a gap in your smile. At the very moment of surgery, we prepare temporary crowns that not only restore aesthetics, but also help your gum heal with the perfect shape.

Occlusal view of the treatment. Here, the correct alignment and respect for the surrounding tissues from the very first moment can be seen

Your smile, in expert hands.

The success of this case, which ended with a happy patient and a renewed smile, is not the result of chance. It is the outcome of combining Dr Dario Castro’s extensive experience with Microdent technology and a patient-centred approach focused on comfort.

Final result. A complete, functional and aesthetic smile that has restored our patient’s confidence in record time

P.S.: If you have been told that your case is difficult or that you do not have enough bone, we invite you to seek a second opinion with us. At Dental Office, we make the complex look simple.

Are you ready to take the step? Book your assessment appointment and let us design your new smile.
